Two directions.
Five steps each.
Pearl to Ethereum
-
Send PEARL to a deposit tied to your Ethereum address. The recipient is fixed when you fund it.
-
Your deposit joins the bridge reserve. Pearl’s covenant restricts how that PEARL can leave.
-
Attesters check Pearl’s block proofs and accumulated work inside TEEs before signing a checkpoint.
-
Ethereum checks the checkpoint signatures and a proof of your deposit, including its recipient and amount.
-
The bridge mints wPEARL to your Ethereum address once the deposit meets its confirmation and mint limits.
Ethereum to Pearl
-
Choose a Pearl recipient and queue your wPEARL. It stays in escrow until the batch closes.
-
Closing the batch fixes its payouts and burns the escrowed wPEARL.
-
A capped amount leaves the reserve for a delayed payout tied to that batch.
-
Watchtowers check the batch against Ethereum. They can return a mismatch to the reserve before payout.
-
After the review window, the batch pays the Pearl recipients and amounts fixed when it closed.

A clear way forward.
A clear view of
what you trust.
A new shore.
A familiar home.
Pavilion Wallet keeps your Pearl and Ethereum balances together, with the bridge built in. Review a transfer and follow its progress from your wallet.

More on how it works What is wPEARL?
Wrapped PEARL (wPEARL) is the Ethereum token backed by PEARL held in the bridge reserve. Deposit PEARL to receive wPEARL, or redeem wPEARL to receive PEARL on Pearl.
How does the bridge use ZK proofs?
Every Pearl block carries a ZK proof of its mining work. Attesters check those proofs inside trusted execution environments (TEEs) before signing checkpoints. Ethereum checks their signatures and the deposit proof; it does not verify Pearl’s mining proof directly.
What protects the reserve?
Pearl’s covenant caps withdrawals and delays each payout batch. Watchtowers compare the batch with Ethereum and can return an incorrect batch to the reserve before its review window closes. The bridge also relies on its signer quorum and governance.
How long does a transfer take?
Deposits wait for enough verified Pearl work and available mint capacity. Returning to Pearl also requires batching and a watchtower review window. The app shows which stage your transfer has reached.
Can I send to a different address?
Yes. Set the recipient’s address before confirming. That address is fixed once you fund the Pearl deposit or queue the Ethereum redemption.
Can I cancel a transfer?
The app shows when a refund or cancellation is available. A Pearl deposit can be refunded after its timeout if it is still unspent and has not joined the reserve. Ethereum redemptions can only be cancelled while queued; requeued requests also need enough daily mint capacity.
